What exactly do you do - do we just hand everything over to you?
Pretty much, yes. We build your surveys, manage the process, analyse the responses, and produce structured evidence documents ready for you to use. Your only job is to share the surveys with residents, families, and staff.
How are your surveys different from something like SurveyMonkey or Microsoft Forms?
Those tools are built for general use. Our surveys are designed specifically for care services, with questions aligned to CQC, Care Inspectorate Wales, and Care Inspectorate frameworks. The outputs are structured as inspection evidence from the start – not just raw data you then have to make sense of.
How much time is required from us?
Minimal. We manage build, monitoring, processing and reporting.
What formats are available for people who struggle with standard surveys?
We offer simplified text, video and BSL, Makaton, PECS, and multi-lingual versions – all included at no additional cost. This means you can capture feedback from residents who are often missed entirely by standard survey approaches.
What do the evidence documents actually look like?
Each document maps your results to the relevant CQC Quality Statement, includes a score, comparative analysis, selected comments, and space for your service to respond. They carry your logo and are ready to share directly with inspectors or use in internal reviews.
Will inspectors recognise this format?
Yes. Reports are structured around regulatory Quality Statements and designed with inspection expectations in mind.
What happens if we receive an inspection notice mid-survey round?
We prioritise your evidence documents and deliver them the same day. You will not be left scrambling for evidence because the timing of an inspection is outside your control.
How many survey rounds do we get each year?
Two rounds per year – one covering Clients and Families, one covering Staff and one for Professional Partners. Both digital and paper formats are available, and we process paper returns at no extra charge.
Can you really capture the voices of people with complex communication needs?
Yes – it is one of the things that sets us apart. Our accessible formats are designed so that services can gather meaningful feedback from people who would otherwise be excluded. Inspectors are increasingly focused on whether feedback reflects the whole service, not just the easiest people to reach.
Do we retain any control over the survey questions?
Yes. We build the surveys based on our expertise and the regulatory framework, but you have full control over the final questions before anything goes out.
What training do you offer, and who is it for?
We offer two courses. Care Staff Confidence is a full-day, face-to-face session for frontline and support staff, covering what CQC looks for and how to respond confidently during an inspection. Get CQC Ready is aimed at managers, deputies, and team leaders, focusing on inspection strategy, evidence preparation, and leading your service through the process.
Can we book both training courses?
Absolutely – many services do exactly that. Training managers and staff separately tends to have a bigger impact, and both courses are delivered at your service by our team.
